Historic Inset Overlay Door and drawer front styling varies based on the width/height. All doors and drawer fronts are back beveled to allow expansion within face frame. Five piece doors and drawer fronts:
  • Stiles and rails are solid wood with mortise and tenon assembly.
  • Center panels are solid wood with raised profile design.
  • Inside edges feature mitered molding.
Slab drawer front modification available; drawer fronts will be solid slab without applied molding. For orders in Knotty Alder, knots may be in locations that affect placement of decorative hardware. Mullion doors are not available.

Knotty alder has a very uniform light brown color with a reddish tinge and a fairly straight-grained, uniform texture. Knots, mineral streaks and other variations are typical and are not considered defects.
